My client is in the broadcast/television business they work closely with audiences and capture markets in obtaining important statistics which they then provide to the television and Media industry (TV Broadcasters, Agencies and Advertisers).
As a direct result of growth they are in search of strong mid to senior level Perl Developer (2-5 years).
In order to be considered for this role you will require the following technical skills:
  • Extensive experience with the Perl programming language 2-5 years
  • Current commercial experience with Linux and bash scripting.
  • Experience with XML and XSLT.
  • Commercial working experience with SQL, design and database development . Postgre sql is also required.
  • It is essential that you are up to date with current industry trends and technology advances.
  • An exposure to a multi-platform environment would be seen as highly advantageous, Such as C++ etc...
  • To exceed in this role it is important that you are very familiar with web based technologies.
  • An in depth understanding of object oriented design and analysis is crucial.
